SUMMARY OF PURPOSE/FUNCTION:
The primary purpose of the position is to develop quote proposals for large automation projects.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Develop quotes and large project submittals
- On-site customer support for Finesse projects and customer process development
- Work with the Finesse Sales team and end users to define new projects
- Review URS documentation for quote preparation/exception lists
- Creation of automation architecture drawings and project schedules
- Improve transitions from sales, operations, integration, start up and service
- Works well under pressure – sometimes meeting multiple and conflicting deadlines.
MISC. FUNCTIONS:
- Assists in the promotion or sales of additional products and services.
- Provides technical, engineering or troubleshooting assistance to installed base customers.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Four year degree in Engineering
- At least 3 years of experience in automation engineering/technical sales
- Experience reviewing User Requirement Specifications
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Ability to work well in client interactions
- Professional appearance and demeanor
BENEFICIAL/DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Hands on experience with DeltaV database creation, control strategy programming and Operator interface screen development desirable
- Knowledge of batch programming and SFC development desirable
- Experience in cGMP pharmaceuticals desirable
